PC Asbestos Services Ltd, offers a full Asbestos Survey Service to Duty Holders or Contractors.
Duty to manage, imposes a legal obligation on landlords, employers and contractors to ensure that any asbestos containing materials within workplaces or common areas are identified and managed.
Commonly known as a "Type 2" survey will provide the basic information required to begin your management plan.
Algorithms, risk assessments and reecommedations will indecate what actions are required to ensure safety.
Adherence to them and regular monitoring is all that is needed. simple as that.
The only exception to this is when major refurbishment or demolition are involved. At that stage a "Type 3" survey is required. the main difference here is that the survey is fully intrusive. "In English" that means the surveys will check the internal (non structural) content of walls ceilings and doors etc.
